About SmartFind.org a directory of categorized, human edited web sites with search capability. Our indexing system is somewhat unique and we recommend everyone who intends to submit a web site to read on. Mission Statement Our goal is to provide our visitors with high quality, spam free, human reviewed web sites. Technology Our directory system consists of a high performance database, indexing robot and human editors. This combination enables us to have a clean, visitor friendly index. When a web site is submitted, it is first added into a queue with the rest of recently submitted web sites. Our indexing robot downloads the main page into the queue and makes some decisions. Then the robot can either: reject the submission, approve the submission or ban the submission for a limited amount of time. If your submission is approved, the robot will give it an importance rating. Next, submission is sent to a different, human edited queue. An editor can also approve, reject or ban a submission as well as give it an importance rating. If a submission is approved, it is immediately listed into the index. Why Robot Bans Web Sites?
